FRANK MASON

Born 1st August 1876 - Died 5th March 1956

 

 

A son of Samuel Smart Mason, he was born 1st August 1876, died 5th March 1956. He married Elizabeth Fanny Helen, daughter of Hunter Henry Murdoch. They have a son Alan Mason.

In 1912 Frank Mason founded a nursery in Feilding, New Zealand, which was to become nationally renowned. It gained particular respect and esteem for its Funchsias and Roses. After Frank Mason's death his son Alan and his wife Mary continued the business until ultimately they retired and the business closed.
