Samuel Hough of Bombay had a natural son by an Indian woman:

1 Reverend G Hough of the Cape, South Africa.

2 Samuel Hough, who died 19th September 1778. He was Captain and part owner of SS Ponsborne. On 5th September 1777 he married Robina Turner, who died September-December 1789 . They had issue:

1 Robert Hunter Hough, baptized 13th May 1778, buried 14th December 1830. On 1st August 1803 he married Eliza Jemima Louisa, daughter of Major General Stafford William Samuel Waddington and Diana Draper, who was born ca 1785. They had issue:

1 Robina Jane Hough, baptized 23rd May 1804, buried 6th June 1831.

He married 2ndly ----- Creaghton of Bath, Somerset, who later remarried ----- Kelly. They had issue:

1 Louisa Hough, who married Colonel ----- Pemble, and had issue, one daughter.

2 Elizabeth Hough, who married the Reverend Dr Baker.
William Hough of Bombay married an 'opera dancer'. They had issue:

1 William Hough, dsp at Bath in 1841.

2 Maria Hough, who married Joseph Blake, son of a wealthy West India merchant. They had several children, one of whom, a daughter, married Lord Marcus Hill, 2nd son of the Marquess of Downshire.
