HUGH TRAVERS JACOB

Born 30th July 1869 - Died in 1898

 

 

 

He was the youngest son of Lt-Col George Adolphus Jacob and his wife Emily, born in the Isle of White 30th July 1869, probably while his mother was staying with her married sister Chloe Evans at Ryde in the Isle of White. He graduated BA at London University in 1895, and was made curate at St George's church, Tufnell Park, London. In 1895 he was sent as a missionary for the Church Missionary Society to Poona, Bombay Presidency, India, where he died not long afterwards.
