A son of William Frederick Jacob, he was born 1st February 1890. He married Muriel Orme Orme (known as Kitty) on 5th October 1916. She was born 5th October 1916. They had children:
1 Patricia Henrietta Orme, born 29th June 1919. She married John Cooke in September 1941.
2 William Anthony Orme, born 4th March 1926.
