George Fogge married Margaret Kempe, the daughter of Sir William Kempe, knight.

Sir William Kempe, knight, was the son of Sir Thomas Kempe, KB. He was born in 1487 and died in 1546. He was Sheriff of Kent in 1528. The manors of Hinxhill and Swatford were alienated by him towards the end of Henry VIII's reign. He married Eleanor, daughter and co-heir of Robert Browne, 3rd son of Sir Robert Browne, knight.

Sir Thomas Kempe KB was the son of Sir William Kempe. He inherited the Ollantigh estates and rebuilt the manor house there. He was Sheriff of Kent in 1492, 1505 and 1512, dying in 1520. He married Emeline, 2nd daughter and co-heir of Valentine Chiche.

Sir William Kempe was the son of Sir Thomas Kempe. He married Alice, the only daughter and heir of Sir Robert Scot, brother of Sir William Scot of Barbourne and afterwards of Scot's Hall. Sir Robert became possessed of the manors of Hinxhill and Swatford in 3 Henry VI.

Sir Thomas Kempe is descended from Ralph Kempe of Ollantigh in Wye in the county of Kent. Tempus Edward I (1272-1307) he possessed much property in this county.

Taken from a pedigree compiled by Edward Jacob, a great-grandson of Edward Jacob of Faversham FSA in c1851. It would appear he took many of his references from Hasted's History of Kent.
