THOMAS JACOB als BRADLAUGH
Born - Died in 1584
A son of John Jacob alias Bradlaw, he married Margaret Filbye about 1555 at Badingham and had children:
1 Michael, baptized at Laxfield after 1542, and died after June 1604.
2 Katherine, baptized at Laxfield ca 1559.
3 Margaret, baptized at Laxfield ca 1579, and was buried 18th July 1644. She married John Botwright on 13th May 1600 at Laxfield.
His will is dated in 1563, he died in 1584. In his will he is described as Thomas Bradilhaughe alias Jacobbe, of Baddingham, in the county of Suffolk. He leaves his principal residences in Laxfield called Chrispes and Caded Mansion to his wife, described as Margerie in the will, for the term of her life. However, his property was apparently held by copy of court roll, which had not been takejn up at the time of making his will. He beseeches the Lord of Manor Sir Robert Wingfield to grant the lands in accordance with his will.
