Deed signed and sealed by Robert Jacob and his wife Mary. The device is a bird statant, a seal used
frequently by this family (Jacob MSS)

A son of Henry Jacob of Hawkinge, he was baptized at Lyminge on 27th September 1637. His wife was named Mary and they had children:

1 William, baptized in 1663
2 Miles, baptized at Lyminge in 1665.

It is through this Robert and Miles that the main line of this family continues to the present day.
