LIONEL LE GRAND JACOB

The younger son of Edwin Legrand Jacob, he was born at Cromwell, Otago, New Zealand in 1876, and died in 1963. He married Margaret Old on 17th April 1901 in St Mary's Anglican Church, New Plymouth, New Zealand. She was a daughter of John Old and Margaret Morton. She was born on 10th August 1879 in Tikorangi, Taranaki, New Zealand and died in July 1962 at Queen Street, Te Kuiti, New Zealand.

They had children:

1 Frances, born 1901. She married Jack Fricker and they had children Kathleen and Mary.
2 Margaret
3 Edward Swinton Le Grand, born in 1904, died 23rd November 1918 of influenza.
4 Jessie Le Grand, born in 1904. She married Kent Johnson and they had a daughter Margaret.
5 Lionel John, born in 1905, died on 22nd June 1984 in Tauranga.
6 George Yalwin Le Grand, born in 1906
7 Mabel Le Grand, born in 1908. She married Kenneth Baff.
8 Ethel Le Grand, born in 1912. She married Charles Cross and they had children Peter and Wendy.
9 Leah Le Grand, born in 1912. She married Donald Baxter and they had a daughter Judith.
10 Claude Le Grand, born in 1919. He married Rae ----- and had a son Lionel John.
