JOHN PIDSLEY

Born c 1767 - Died 2nd April 1798

 

 

He was born ca 1767, and died 2nd April 1798. His wife Mary died 6th August 1824 aged 63. They had at least two children:

1 William
2 Mary, who died 23rd January 1792.

In Colebrook church, on the south wall, is the following monument:

Sacred to the memory of
John PIdsley Gent
of Wootton in this parish
who died April 2nd 1798 aged 31 and whose
remains are deposited in a vault in the chancel.

Also of Mary his wife who died
Augst 6th 1824 aged 63
and of Mary their daughter
who died Janry 23rd 1792 aged 6 months
