ARTHUR COURTENAY WOOLLCOMBE BOYCE

Born 19th April 1852 - Died 11th January 1892

 

A son of Reverend William Woollcombe-Boyce, he was born at the Priory, Cheltenham 19th April 1852, and baptized at St Mary's Cheltenham 20th May of that year. He entered the army as Second-Lieutenant 49th (Princess Charlotte of Wales) Foot on 1st January 1873, and retired as Lieutenant in 1876. He died at Leckhampton, county Gloucester 11th January 1892, and was buried at Elkestone 14th January.

He married Mary Eleanor, elder daughter of Watkyn Llewellyn Jones of Cwm, Avon 15th June 1886. She was born 21st October 1862, and died 15th January 1892, and was buried at Elkestone on 18th January. They had a son:
