A son of William Henry Jacobs, he was born 12th July 1884, and died in 1956. He married on 4th July 1914 Ethel Kate, daughter of George Robert Tweedie, Railway Inspector of Wallerawang, New South Wales, Australia. They had children:

1 William Bevan, who married Olive Joan McGarry.
2 Judith May, who married Eric Pearse Parsons.
