MICHAEL JACOB alias BRADLAUGH
Born ca 1557 - Buried 21st June 1604
The son of Thomas Jacob alias Bradlaugh, he was born ca 1557, and died after June 1604. He married Frances, daughter of John Smythe of Parkfield, Laxfield, on 8th September 1584 at Laxfield; she was buried there 4th March 1616. They had children:
1 Margaret, baptized at Laxfield 30th June 1588. On 13th May 1600 she married at Laxfield John Botwright, junior.
2 John, baptized at Laxfield 18th September 1586, and buried there 28th September 1621.
3 Wolfram, baptized at Laxfield 24th May 1590, buried there unmarried 9th December 1626.
4 William, baptized at Laxfield 13th August 1592.
5 Simon, baptized at Laxfield 29th September 1594.
6 Frances, baptized at Laxfield 5th September 1596, buried there 29th September of the same year.
7 Christopher, baptized at Laxfield 13th November 1597, and buried there 19th November 1597.
8 Amy, baptized at Laxfield 22nd April 1599. She married Thomas Blome.
9 Thomas, baptized at Laxfield 12th May 1600. He died before 1699 and left a son and heir Thomas.
10 Robert, baptized at Laxfield 2nd August 1601.
11 Francis, baptized at Laxfield 13th February 1603.
12 Elizabeth.
13 Michael, baptized at Laxfield 29th July 1604, buried there 8th May 1624.
His will is dated 17th June 1603. He gives his lands in Laxfield to Frances his wife, for the term of 14 years after his decease, she to bring up his children, who were all under age.
